PPC Account Manager - Headingley, Leeds

The Role

We have a very exciting opportunity available for an ambitious and hardworking candidate to join the Paid Media team of an award winning independent digital marketing agency.
Reporting to the Head of Paid Media and working as a part of a very knowledgeable and passionate team, you will be responsible for the management, development, optimisation, analysis and recommendations of paid search activity, working closely with the natural search team to maximise search visibility, implementing and delivering retargeting campaigns, as well as being involved in regular brainstorming sessions to identify new opportunities to market (social, content ideas, brand ideas etc).
The ideal candidate will have 2 years recent experience in a similar role and should be focused, enthusiastic and quick to learn, possessing analytical, innovative and mathematical qualities with attention to detail. As a client facing role, we are looking for candidates who are comfortable presenting and liaising with clients face to face.

Responsibilities Include:

Client Responsibilities
• Responsible for the day to day management of your clients
• Working closely alongside the wider account and channel teams in achieving client objectives
• Develop strong client relationships
• Preparing and attending face to face client meetings
• Preparing and attending weekly client conference calls
• Keeping clients informed of market changes / trends
• Keen understanding of your clients marketplace

Account Responsibilities
• Daily management of paid accounts (Google Adwords, BingAds, Facebook etc.) in line with client objectives : including set up, tracking, optimisation and reporting
• Ensuring reporting is accurate and analysed to provide recommendations for improvement
• Effectively integrate promotional planning into paid search campaign
• Develop deep understanding of whole online marketing mix and how each channel works together

Person Specification
• Up to date knowledge of PPC
• Google Advertising Professional (not essential but preferable)
• Google Analytics experience
• Excellent numeric and written skills
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and handling data
• Ambitious, hardworking and eager to learn
• Keen interest in all things digital
