Our client, one of the UK's market leaders in outdoor advertising, is currently looking to recruit an Agency and Client Account Manager which will report to the Sales Group Head and will maintain and develop close relationships with many departments within the company. The role involves ensuring that the company is represented regularly and professionally amongst your allocated roster of advertising agencies and their clients and through face-to-face meeting, and presenting regularly on both a group and individual level. Key responsibilities include: ·Increasing the number of clients in your roster of agencies using the company's products ·Increasing the level of expenditure on the company's products as a percentage of their total billings ·Helping your Sales Group Head manage and develop the sales assistants within your group as and when directed ·Maintenance and verification of accurate and appropriate records and statistics as required by your Sales Group Head Candidate Requirements: ·Significant experience in the outdoor industry, preferably selling to specialists and agencies ·The ability to bring agency contacts to the role ·To be able to head up proposals and negotiate and conduct yourself with existing as well as new agencies/clients. ·Strong customer care ethic and excellent account management skills ·A genuine desire and ability to learn/absorb an industry, its issues, trends and players ·A team player, who is self-sufficient, self-motivated, with a "can-do" attitude.
