This role is with a highly specialised niche organisation that runs boutique publications focused on urban regeneration and property development for the UK's most exciting developments. This role would suit a candidate with trade publication sales experience that is looking for a company where you need not grow but walk into a senior position of responsibility, represent the company as a senior account manager and experienced business developer. If you are looking for a company that nurtures personal and professional growth and gives a lot of autonomy and a real input in to the development and direction of the business, then this may be the company for you.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Responsible for developing existing client relationships
· Increased pitching for new business development
· Cross business networking for improved business awareness
· Responsible for target achievement
· To deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients
· To manage a small team of sales and sales assistant staff
· To adhere to quality administration procedures
COMPANY
Our client is an expanding B2B customer publishing and events company that was founded 4 years ago. They specialise in strategic marketing for property regeneration programmes, working closely with the design and construction industry. They aim to create a media that not only brings the sector together but improves relationship ties to borough councils, investors, developers and architects through the use of networking events and well circulated publications.
The majority of our work is in regeneration, promoting the UK's biggest and most exciting development schemes. As a company they have grown very quickly from having 2 publications in its first year to having 27 different publications in what is now only their 4th year in circulation.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS
· Looking for experience in either PR, property development or media sales in trade
· Must work successfully in a team and on your own.
· You must be a talented, positive and professional individual.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills with a creative edge
· Hardworking and diligent with fantastic organisational skills
· A superb account handler with great relationship building skills
· A resilient business developer.
