JOB SPECIFICATION
Job Title:Account Manager
Reporting to:Account Director
Based: Reading, Berkshire
Responsible for:Automotive, Telecoms, Publishing, Retail Accounts
Profile
An experienced, Account Manager able to develop and grow client accounts. You should have experience in a similar marketing environment.
Do you have good direct marketing experience, through the line, preferably gained agency side?
Are you a team player with excellent budget and financial skills, ambition and drive to develop their accounts proactively?
Key Responsibilities
Managing an Account Executive with a view to helping develop the team within the agency
Tight budget control of client activity, agree and manage budgets, maintain profit targets
Ability to write both strategic and tactical proposals, through awareness of and trends in relevant market sectors
Presentation skills to gain client confidence and business
Utilising facilities within the agency on client business as a first stop and then, through market awareness, developing third party suppliers to bring added value
Understanding of database, creative and direct marketing agency – services provided
Good commercial awareness
Good team player, well-motivated and enthusiastic - happy to contribute ideas
Familiarity with ISO9002 quality procedures (training can be provided)
Proven experience dealing with either Telecoms, Automotive, Publishing and/or Retail clients is advantageous!
Able to develop creative brief and manage the creative process!
