Our client, a media group specialising in the production of B2B magazines and the organisation of business events and conferences, is looking to recruit a Sales Manager to work on one of their largest trade exhibitions. The main responsibility of the Sales Manager will be to hit and exceed given sales targets, to help identify new areas of growth and revenue and to support and contribute to the overall sales operation to achieve meterage, revenue and yield targets. Candidates must have previous exhibition sales experience.
Key responsibilities include:
·Keeping the Sales Director updated on coverage of client universe and to give accurate forecasts of anticipated meterage on a weekly basis.
·Securing and gaining the long term participation of identified key brands, existing and potential, that are strategically important to the current and future development of the event
·Making face-to-face calls with exhibitors/prospects and attending competitive exhibitions
·Achieving a consistent sales performance by face-to-face presentation, telephone, group presentation and written word

·A team player who is customer focused, enthusiastic, self-motivated and results driven
·A good work ethic and willingness to learn
·Able to quickly establish and maintain excellent internal and external relationships
