Our client is a leading City based international conference and event's organiser, delivering leading conferences and events attended on a global scale by senior delegates from the world's FTSE listed companies. They now have an exciting opening for a senior sales professional to sell sponsorship solutions across their exciting portfolio.
As an experienced sales professional you will work under the title of Sales Manager and be responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition space on the clients leading events portfolio via telephone and face-to- face meetings. Your key responsibilities will include market research, business development, account management, possible international travel and ultimately growing conference sales revenue.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have 2yrs proven b2b sales experience, ideally from either sponsorship, exhibitions or media sales background. Candidates must have a great track record of high performance sales (closing deals £10k+) and be able to influence and negotiate sponsorship deals at senior levels within leading organisations. You will be a high achiever who takes an entrepreneurial approach to sales and the ambition to suceed in this fast paced environment.
The successful candidate can expect a base salary of 30-35k dependent upon experience and an uncapped commission structure - OTE of 60-70k plus benefits.
