We are proud to recruit for one of the leading publishers of business and consumer publications in the Middle East. Their portfolio incorporates some of the biggest brands and they currently publish more than 60 magazines and have a range of fast growing digital publications also. They also organise business and consumer events and conferences in the Middle East each year. The company employs over 500 staff based in offices in the Middle East and India.
We have an urgent requirement for candidates with advertising sales experience within automotive publications to work in Dubai and experience the lifestyle it has to offer. You will be expected to be able to work on your own, develop new leads, cold call, meet new clients and pitch and most importantly close deals so you can develop the product. Long term the plan for most publications is to launch awards ceremonies, conferences, supplements and anything else that generates revenue.
You must have a proven new business track record within automotive publishing and be able to sell to the end user and not just through agencies. You will be proficient both over the phone and face to face and be comfortable with closing big deals. This isn't a job for someone who just wants to work on a magazine! This is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility for their magazine and brand. If you can't work on a magazine on your own and make sure it hits target then this is job is not for you.
You will receive return flights for you and your family, 3 months subsidised accommodation in Dubai, expenses towards relocation, private healthcare and of course, a TAX FREE salary.
UK Gross equiv. basic £28500 to £33k, uncapped OTE of £38k to £44k.
