One of the UK's largest business-to-business publishers, is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell sponsorship and advertising opportunities on a leading finance information service.
The portfolio comprises a monthly magazine, online information service, and hugely successful annual awards night.
Reporting directly to the publisher, the Business Development Manager will be the lead sales person selling a number of different opportunities including sponsorship of supplements, awards, round tables and other events, and advertising opportunities across print and online. This person will also be responsible for managing a more junior sales executive.
This role requires an intelligent and adaptable individual who will be comfortable selling to senior decision makers within our commercial partners. These partners are some of the World's largest financial, legal and technical advisors including Price Waterhouse Coopers, Pinsent Masons and Deutsche Bank.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in developing deep long term relationships with a number of high value clients, ideally in the area of project or infrastructure finance.
This person should have considerable experience in selling sponsorship packages across print, online and events, and have a demonstrable track record of success in creating new revenue streams.
