Position: Business Development Manager-Online/Education-Spanish

Salary: circa £32,000

Our client, a leading media and events company in the higher education sector, is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to help accelerate the success of their online products in key markets in the UK, USA, Spain and Latin America.

 Key Responsibilities include:

• Building revenue through direct sales to new and existing clients
• Establishing and maintaining long-term consultative relationships with clients
• Developing and delivering presentations at seminars and conferences
• Consistently updating prospect and sales information and providing regular and clear reports

Person Specification

• Previous experience of closing complex sales
• You will be tenacious, self-motivated and results oriented with a history of achieving sales targets
• You will have a consultative manner, able to listen and understand client requirements and identify the benefits that the company's products would bring them
• You will be an effective communicator who can explain complex products in a non-technical way and articulate the value of these products to clients
• You will be happy to work alone at times but also be a strong team player
• Proficiency with standard PC applications and websites
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English
• Fluency in Spanish is a must
• Other languages a plus, but not essential
• Detailed knowledge of the market segment is not essential but you must have a desire to learn, enthusiasm to progress your career and a willingness to work hard to achieve this
