Job Description

Our client, an award winning corporate communications business, is looking to recruit a Campaign Development Manager to spearhead the development and growth of the company's new business strategies. The objective of the role will be to create high quality sales leads in the form of meetings with the new contacts targeted by these strategies. As the company is going through a period of rapid growth, the ability to cope with change and variable workload while delivering a consistent high level of output is essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Taking personal responsibility for one audience-to be determined-and lead from the front in terms of running campaigns to this audience
  • Managing/recruiting a small but growing team of individuals who demand lots of oversight, nurturing and development skills
  • Interacting with the four service line heads, the commercial director and the Group MD to prioritise the campaigns that are executed and provide status reports as required

Person Specification

  • Previous and relevant sales experience, preferably an experienced Sales Manager from a professional environment (Conferences/events/publishing/finance etc.)
  • Excellent man management skills
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to influence internal stakeholders to drive through campaigns
  • Sharp attention to detail with excellent written and verbal skills to take responsibility for the contents of every campaign that leaves the company
  • Must be a self-starter who can function independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
