Job Description

Our client, a leading UK media owner, is looking to recruit a Senior Sales Executive to join their team. As Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for maximising and growing revenue from existing clients whilst also taking responsibility for recognising and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous media sales experience with a proven track record of presenting, negotiating and selling. You will be a confident communicator with established agency contacts.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Sales Executive include:

  • Responsibility for developing and maintaining key relationships with clients directly
  • Regularly providing support and help in the development of fellow sales executives
  • Effectively grow sales to exceed targets and expand business by proactively targeting new clients and generating new business
  • Successfully achieve a minimum of 6 external meetings per week with key clients and agencies
  • Closely liaise with brand solutions and direct marketing
  • Create and produce compelling proposals as well as bespoke presentations

Qualities we're looking for in the Senior Sales Executive:

  • Previous media sales experience, within a similar role with  proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to establish good working relationships with clients, agencies and fellow team members
  • Strong planning, organisational and negotiation skills
  • A confident, professional and willing individual who wants to progress
  • Solid ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • The ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in your market sector and working environment
  • A strong team player
