Product Manager / Marketing (Projectors), £45k, Uxbridge
SALARY: £40-45k basic plus 15% bonus (pro rata).
BENEFITS: Final Salary Pension, private medical insurance, subsidised staff restaurant, free parking plus other excellent benefits.
LOCATION: Stockley Park, Uxbridge, Middlesex (commutable from Heathrow, Slough, Staines, Watford, High Wycombe, Fulham and West London).
DURATION: 6 month contract initially but with a strong probability of going permanent.

Our client is a prestigious global provider of respected imaging products (cameras, camcorders and projector products).
ROLE:
They are currently recruiting for a Projector Product Specialist who will co-ordinate, manage and implement all activities necessary to successfully introduce new projector products to the European market. You will provide pre and post-sales technical support to internal/external customers and partners and provide a Marketing Support service.
This is a technical & product-marketing focused role requiring a good understanding of projectors along with the software and hardware environments for projectors.
Please note, there are a lot of Industry Events coming up in the next 6 months that the successful candidate will need to attend so my client are looking to fill this role urgently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Project manage the introduction of Projector products to the European market in terms of product set-up, localisation, sample management, regulatory compliance, marketing planning, sales briefing and service requirements.
b) Provide a pre/post sales, technical support service to internal and external customers, including system integrators and developers (this may be on site).
c) Develop & maintain detailed information on the market, technologies, products and competition to secure good product planning, marketing planning, training, budgeting and support.
d) Test and evaluate the performance of products versus competitors, providing analysis of the results as required.
e) Develop and deliver Technical and Product training internally and externally.
f) Develop, write and proof all forms of marketing collateral, including product guides, sales training packs, presentation materials and instruction manuals.
g) Manage, define & support our clients participation in Industry Events. This includes the setup of exhibition stands, handling of event logistics and being a spokesman to press and industry analysts.
h) Periodic travel required within EMEA region - primarily Western Europe, Middle East & Africa.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) You MUST have strong working knowledge of projector products and technologies.
b) Degree level education preferred in Engineering/IT/Electronics or equivalent.
c) Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will need strong presentation and technical writing skills (white paper, manuals, instructions, etc).
d) Capable of dealing with the different needs of a culturally diverse market.
