SALES MANAGER LARGE SCALE VENUE
£30,000pa PLUS BONUS & BENEFITS

A fantastic opportunity to join an award winning venue, where you will be working on some really exciting conferences and events within a team who have a passion for perfection!

As part of a new re-launch our client is currently looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager to actively manage the sales executives to drive the sale of events such as AGMs, meetings and seminars as well as special events such as dinners, weddings and Christmas parties. Events will often be large scale and complex, you may be responsible for multiple events running simultaneously. Excellent interdepartmental communications are a must, as you will liaise closely.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage a team of 6 sales executives on a day to day basis.
· Set the individual sales executives weekly and month KPI's
· Conduct all sales executives annual Performance Development Reviews
· Handle all inbound conference and events enquiries
· Achieve own individual sales target
· Work closely with events marketing executive, venue marketing manager and head of events to develop and deliver marketing strategies
· Regularly attend networking events
· Liaise with event manager and operational team to ensure all event details are handed over to ensure service is delivered to meet and exceed customer expectations
· Maintain & develop customer profiles
· Assist with the production of sales reports and team activity reports as required
· Record, analyse and report according to systems and requirements
· Work with other internal departments to identify cross selling and lead generations opportunities
· Conduct outbound telemarketing / cold calling as required
· Attend and run the weekly sales team meeting and present relevant information to the team
· Regularly review processes within the department and update the team with any necessary changes
· Analyse weekly revenue sales figures report and distribute to senior management team


If you have a strong background in managing sales executives, are results oriented with high commitment, resilience and a positive can do attitude then this could be the role for you! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cold calling as well as client management, ideally selling conferences, corporate hospitality or events. With excellent relationship building skills, leadership capabilities and the ability to deal and react at all levels this is an ideal role for a sales focused manager.
