The Role
Possibly the most exciting senior opportunity currently available in the world of E-Commerce, for an outstanding commercial manager to join as general manager of the site.
The key day-to-day tasks include:
- Setting and evolving the strategy and three year business plan for the UK marketplace.
- Leading the team in bringing market, competitor and customer insight.
- Delivering compelling propositions to both buyers and merchant partners.
- 360-degree general management responsibility with full exposure to sales, marketing, product, customer support and pricing strategy.
- Executing against the business plan, delivering financial commitments and the right initiative to drive growth and continued performance
Your Profile

- Strong analytics and strategic thinking skills, demonstrated by a track record of success in a sizeable online business.
- Experience of successfully managing a team with some exposure to P&L accountability.
- Mixture of B2C and B2B experience preferred.
- Strong academics to University level, with special consideration given to those qualified to candidate with MBAs.
