My client is a successful high growth business which has won numerous Digital category awards and has grown rapidly in the past 18 months. It works across its parent group's client base and in addition holds digital contracts with the leading semi state and blue chip brands, won through independent pitching. It has offices internationally with the Irish arm being owned by a leading communications group in Dublin.
We're looking for the Digital Project Director for this agency. This is a great opportunity to work industry leaders with the role responsibilities being;
* You're the critical liaison point between conceptual design and technical implementation.
* Working closely with clients, suppliers, partners and co-workers to specify optimal solutions.
* Ability to present pitches presentations and understanding to clients.
* Application of modern and automated testing techniques to system, load and performance test tasks
* Formulating innovative technical solutions to business problems
* You have good client facing skills.
* Expert at translating the technical into the commercial, and vice versa.
* Agency experienced, you're passionate about digital.
* Proposing the most sophisticated, modern and Internet leading digital solutions for (digital) marketing plans.
* Writing precise, detailed and comprehensive specifications based on requirements gathering in accordance with our methodologies.
This role requires the following:
* You should have a wide range of experience in producing systems in .net, java, php. This should be in-depth where possible.
* You should have demonstrable experience in quality control techniques at all levels of production from specification to deployment and maintenance.
* Code management / versioning techniques and systems
* Good understanding of usability principles
* Good understanding of accessibility issues and legal remit pertaining to these
* Understanding of CSS and modern mark-up techniques
* Proven track record with integration of diverse technologies in a highly performing environment
* Strong integrated marketing skills - where/how offline and online meet
* Good knowledge of the physical architecture required to present secure, fast and reliable web-based systems
* Good and proven track record with data integration and handling
You must also:
* Be able to work in a very fast-moving environment - multiple responsibilities
* Be able to pass on skills, mentor and foster a (technical) team
* Have high standards, good attention to detail and a methodological work process
* Have an ability to work under one's own initiative and as part of a team
* Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Academic/Educational Qualifications:
Good BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent required.
* You must have the right to work in the EU permanently.
