Job Description

The UnderWaterChannel is a new broadband TV channel that will become the leading online destination for the diving enthusiast. The company is currently seeking to recruit an Advertising Sales Manager. The company is a start-up with significant investment backing within the industry whose business model is advertising and sponsorship initially.

This will initially be a contract role and will offer the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in the launch of an innovative media solution. This is the perfect opportunity for a high energy, self motivated, results driven individual to develop his/her career by gaining unlimited experience working with industry experts. We are looking for a high performing individual who will thrive on a challenge and make significant contributions to the future of the Company


Responsibilities:
• Work with the Online Commercial Sales Director to establish project milestones and plans, quantify goals, identify critical success factors and manage the setting up of the Sales department
• Be proactive in identifying, contacting and selling effectively all the advertising opportunities and their benefits to potential advertisers
• Develop and create reports for the Online Commercial Sales Director
• Establish business development processes for the selling of online integrated sponsorship or advertising
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
• Communicate effectively with the Online Commercial Sales Director and other team members
• Create and Manage media kits, rates and sales materials
• Manage ad hoc projects as they arise


Essential Qualifications/ Experience / Skills Required
• Expertise and solid understanding of the online advertising or sponsorship industry a necessity
• Experience with online CRM systems a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• An international outlook and thinking
• Comfortable in an early start-up small business environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


The salary for this position is 30,000 – 40,000 and the successful candidate will be offered an attractive package including pension and medical insurance.
