UK Regional Account Manager - National Press & Supplements - to £25K + Bonus and Company Car/Car Allowance & Excellent Benefits Package - Manchester

Your Profile

As Regional Account Manager you will have experience working within an Agency Sales role and should be aware as to how Media Agencies work. You should also be a self starter with excellent communications skills and should be capable of working within a team with a determination to succeed. In addition to this you should have a proven sales track record and should have an understanding of B2B and personal finance as well as being aware of the benefits of Advertising. Applicants will also need to have a confident and professional manner coupled with a creative approach to selling to make this role a success. As the role involves managing relationships with agencies based in the North of the UK, applicants will need to be flexible in terms of travel.

The Role

As Regional Account Manager you will be liaising with Media Agencies on a daily basis, preparing convincing sales stories and creative uses of your product selling both Classified and Display Advertising all the while working to competitive revenue targets. Working with existing clients (media agencies) based in the north of the UK (primarily Manchester, Leeds and Scotland), you will be expected to manage and grow your existing client base whilst searching for new revenue streams as well. This role will also require you to work to sales and market share objectives as well as identify, develop and project manage new advertising and sponsorship solutions - all the while maintaining strong agency relationships at all relevant levels. You will also need to ensure that all administration procedures are carried out accurately and promptly and also make sure your knowledge of your product and industry development is always up to date. Working within a team you should be able to work closely with your colleagues to ensure that you are maximising revenue opportunities at all times.
