Your Profile
With a successful career in Media Sales, you will be a Sales Manager looking for the perfect company and the opportunity to succeed. You are a confident, articulate and funky Sales person who is looking to combine a Sales role with an opportunity drive the success of this leading title within the travel arena. You have a creative and innovative thought process with experience of negotiating high-value deals. Self-motivation and the drive to push a brand forward are a must! Your business acumen skills will be second to none, your ability to forward plan and make things happen will allow you to stand out from the crowd. Experience of working on a weekly title and corporate travel market knowledge would be a huge plus! The perfect Media Sales Manager will love socialising and attending industry events, awards and dinners. There will be excellent travel opportunities internationally - the Sales Director has recently had to renew their passport due to too many stamps!!
The Role
As Sales Manager you will be responsible for generating revenue across a portfolio of Magazine, Online, Events and Awards. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, networking amongst your existing clients and managing the key accounts. You will be responsible for attending industry events, seminars and conferences to build awareness of the magazine within the marketplace. As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for monthly progress and forecasts. As well as liaising with the Editorial team to ensure all leads are covered and information is exchanged to help both parties you will be responsible for design layout of the magazine flat-plan in conjunction with editorial and production, and ensure optimum Advertising/Editorial ratio. With a small strong team and a fabulous product - this will be the most enjoyment you've had at work!
